You work with me not just because I'm a photographer. You hire me because you need high quality visual assets for your business. Consider me a Visual Asset Expert, there to solve your needs. From specification, through creation, through deployment - as little or as much as you need:

I help you to figure out what visual assets will be most effecitve and the right investment. I bring a trained eye and a long background in marketing, retail, and e-commerce.

I can create the right assets for you, I can find the right people to do it for your, or we can work with existing 3rd party assets. I'm well versed in multiple media - from old-fashioned film stills, contemporary digital composites, web video, to film.

With the right assets in hand, I make sure they get deployed correctly online or in print, and can measure their effectiveness. I bring a long background in software and the web in addition to my visual expertise.

 

I specialize in editorial and commercial photography featuring people and products in high-end lifestyle settings with a particular weight on fashion and food photography. I do so both for still photography and motion/film. I have worked on assignments for fashion & jewelry designers, stylists, restaurants, entertainment venues, film festivals, modelling agencies, and corporations.

My life is reflected in my photography as a diverse mix of cultures, languages, continents, food, and locations. My European sense of style; The German passion for perfection and craftsmanship; The harsh aesthetics and negative spaces of the American West; The celebration of beauty and aspiration of the fashion world and Couture; The celebration of life in succulent food.

 

Continuous professional development and community engagement are core values of mine. I serve on the board of the Seattle chapters of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), and I am the Regional Director for the Seattle chapter of Fashion Group International (FGI).
